Before we proceed, let us grab a copy of the Tableau Extention API from Tableau’s official GitHub Repository.
- Go to the following URL: https://github.com/tableau/extensions-api
- Click on the green Clone or download button and select Download ZIP
- This should start the download of the extensions-api-master.zip file
- Once this has been downloaded, please unzip the contents of this directory, as we will be exploring this in the next video
Note: now that you have a GitHub account, you can Watch the Tableau Extension repository and in doing so, you will receive notifications. I would recommend you doing this to keep up to date with Extension developments.
